Adopt-A-Child Project

 

Adopt-A-Child is part of our Annual Holiday Project.

ADOPT-A-CHILD.  Through this program, donors “adopt” a child (or sibling group) and provide the suggested gifts for individual children.  A wish list is developed for each child that lists items they need or wish to receive.  Donors are provided with  a large label with the child’s first name, gender, age, clothing sizes and suggested “wish list” items.  The suggested price range for each child is  $50 to $75;  usually an outfit and special toy, depending on the child’s needs.  You are welcome to purchase additional gifts above and beyond what is suggested.  Donors are also provided with a large bag for each child in which the wrapped presents for the child are placed and label adhered to the outside of the bag.  The gifts for the child may be dropped off at the agency by December 13th or arrangements can be made for volunteers to pick up the gift at an agreed upon time.
