Birthday Buddies
The Birthday Buddies program relies on the support of the community to provide special life experiences, frequently taken for granted, for children in care of Stark County Children Services. All children in custody on their birthday receive special recognition and a gift.
Back To School Project
With the assistance of individuals and organizations, Project KARE coordinates the collection of school supplies to be distributed to children in need every August. Each year before school resumes, a back-to-school event is held for all foster and kinship families. Back-to-school supplies are provided to help foster children prepare for the start of the school year.
