Rising Up...Moving On (RUMO)

Children in the custody of Stark County Job & Family Services, Children Services Division who are receiving their high school diploma, GED certificate, or college degree are recognized at a program held every June.  Individuals, families, or organizations may sponsor a child by making a donation.  Donations cover the cost of lunch for the graduate and their guests, as well as a cash gift.  All sponsors are invited to attend the luncheon.

Foster Parent Banquet

Each May a recognition banquet is held for foster and adoptive parents, licensed and approved by Stark County JFS.  They are recognized for their years of service, dedication, and commitment to caring for abused and neglected children in Stark County.
